A few days after guiding karts and very short on batteries played in International Stars Challenge, organized by Felipe Massa in Florianopolis, pilots of different categories of motorsport are back in the pits of a kart track. This time, the city of Penha, also in Santa Catarina, before a high-speed marathon expected to last almost 12 hours. The new track of the Beto Carrero World, designed by architect official F-1, the German Hermann Tilke, from this year replaces the circuit of Granja Viana, in Sao Paulo to host the traditional Indy 500 kart.
The competition of 2011, as well as previous editions, has a diverse grid, which is typical in endurance races. A situation that puts under the same conditions, Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa and Lucas di Grassi, Formula 1, along with competitors from other major championships in Brazil and abroad, such as Stock Car, Formula Indy and Formula Truck and several young kartistas - which, in this test, have only one chance virtually all season of measuring forces with their idols on the slopes.
